THE EDITORIAL PROCESS
After you submit a manuscript, your manuscript enters the submission queue, where it will be assigned to an editor who will see it through the editorial process.
Next, your submission is reviewed to ensure it has been submitted according to the submission guidelines. Peer review is conducted and an editorial decision is reached. Reviewers submit recommendations to the editor.
If your submission passes peer review, you will review copyedits and proofread galleys. Journal management will copyedit, format, and proofread during this stage.
Your edited manuscript will be published in the immediate forthcoming issue, or in an alternate forthcoming issue if it is better suited to the topic.
Once published, your article will be included in printed and open-access editions of the journal.
